A squeegee is the application method Plexipave is formulated for, and it's the single biggest reason a court holds its color, its flatness, and its life span.
A squeegee pushes material down into the porosity and low spots of the concrete rather than laying a thin film across the high points. Each pass leaves a level, fully bonded layer instead of a coating bridging over voids that later flash off as bare patches.
Court acrylics are engineered for a specific mil thickness per coat. A squeegee meters that thickness evenly across the whole surface, which is what turns four coats into a predictable 7–10+ year wear layer instead of a surface that thins out in the traffic lanes first.
Two squeegee-applied resurfacer coats level birdbaths and trowel ridges, so the ball takes a true bounce and water sheets off instead of pooling. That flatness is the difference between a court that plays right and one that just looks painted.
No roller stipple, no lap marks, no brush texture — just an even sheen and a crisp color field that photographs as well in year six as it did on day one, with line work that lays down sharp on a smooth surface.

We surface exclusively with California Sports Products Plexipave — the tournament-grade acrylic used at championship venues. The heavy pigment load, UV-stable binder, and hard aggregate are what keep color vivid and traffic marks off the surface years later.

Concrete never stops shifting. Cracks, joints, and sockets get a flexible court-grade caulking that stretches and recovers with the slab through daily heat cycles, then cures overnight before any coating goes down. That flexibility is why the repair stays invisible instead of reappearing as a hairline in the color coat.

Two coats of acrylic resurfacer to true the plane, then two full coats of pigmented Plexipave — every one of them squeegee-applied and given extra dry time. Most courts finish in three to five days.

Plexipave's CoolTop solar-reflective topcoat carries solar reflectance 20–30% higher than standard court coatings, so the surface holds less heat on 100-degree afternoons. Players last longer and the coating takes less thermal stress over its life.
